China’s Wuhuan, Russia’s Plateks to build $1.4 fertilizer plant
MOSCOW, Aug 15 (PRIME) -- China’s Wuhuan Engineering and Russian research and development company Plateks have signed an agreement to construct a U.S. $1.4 billion fertilizer plant in the Saratov Region, the regional government said in a statement on Wednesday.
Wuhuan will act as a general contractor and investor of the project. The plant is to reach its projected annual production capacity of 1.5 million tonnes of nitrogen fertilizers a year in late 2024.
